Biography

Built SEOmoz into Moz, the company that democratized SEO knowledge and gave the industry its first credible software brand. Grew Moz from 7 employees and roughly $800K in revenue to 134 employees and around $29M during his time as CEO (2007 to 2014). The company exceeded $42M in revenue by 2016 under his broader tenure. Stepped away from Moz entirely in 2018. Whiteboard Friday, launched March 29, 2007, remains one of the longest-running and most influential SEO video series ever produced. The Beginner's Guide to SEO introduced more people to the field than every paid course combined. Founded SparkToro with Casey Henry.
