Biography

Founded WebmasterWorld in 1998 (originating from SearchEngineWorld, 1997), where every working SEO, Matt Cutts included, learned the craft before Google had a webspam team to learn from. Founded PubCon in 2000; the conference has run continuously under the same name longer than any other event in the field. Credited with coining "SERP," "Link Farm," and "SEO Themes." Author of "26 Steps to 15k a Day," one of the most widely read documents in SEO history. US Search Awards Lifetime Achievement, 2016.
